Led by charismatic lead vocalist Phia Lane, as she sings, shouts and screams her gritty honest lyrics, the group’s stage chemistry is electric during their performances of polished madness. From the uniform clown makeup each band member wears, to the effortless engagement with each other and the crowd, T.R.U.E concocts an mesmerizing stage presence.

The band performed in Sound Off! 2024, the premier 21-and-under music showcase in the Pacific Northwest, has been the KISW 99.9 Loud and Local Band of The Week, while receiving airplay on KEXP AND KISW, and is currently featured in a commercial for Puget Sound Energy. 2025 started by playing Treefort Fest in Boise Idaho in March and the release of their album No Hit Wonders. In May 2025 their new single Creature Comfort came out and in July the band played the prestigious Pioneer Square Fest! Their final release of 2025, Leviathan, came out December 12th. Not wasting any time into the new year, the band is releasing their newest riot grrrl sing-along , BLAST! along with a sell-out show at Neumos is heading to Boise again for Treefort 2026!
Even though we're moving past this phase, the 8 songs on No Hit Wonders mean a lot to us. We hope you enjoy this compilation of our work so far, and we look forward to sharing our new music soon!

The lyrics came naturally after they spent some time skimming a thesaurus, inspired by various stereotypes in TV dramas about white-collar workers.

Worlds End Lane is an aggressive rock song about feeling betrayed by someone close to you. It features screaming, loud vocals, and a clear nu-metal influence from 2000s bands like System of a Down. It was written over seven days in October of 2023 and quickly became a fan favorite. It was recorded and posted live during Soundoff! 2024 and has been played at many festivals.
Interlude for the Angels is a deeply personal song about feeling disillusioned from love while simultaneously craving it, speaking on an overall feeling of shame surrounding the topic of romance. It encapsulates a desperate tone as its verses follow the story of two separate characters.

The band decided to take the first half of that prompt, "moving forward," and turn it into something entirely different- a girl based in a freshly apocalyptic world moving forward with her new way of living. The song carries themes of feminity, being true to yourself, and not letting your past define you, while still telling a structured story.
